Directions

 

To reach Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood, where AVB is located, by Metro take the Metro’s Blue Line to the Braddock Road station. Del Ray is a brief walk from the station.

 

If you are driving:

From I-95 take Rte. 1 North toward Old Town, Alexandria for approximately 2-3 miles. Get in the left lane as you cross the Monroe St. Bridge, turn left on Monroe St. At first traffic light turn right on Mt. Vernon Ave. and AVB is approximately 7 blocks on the left.

 

From DC and Arlington Follow Rte. 1 south through Crystal City and past National Airport. Turn right on Custis Avenue and take that to Mt. Vernon Ave. Turn right on Mt. Vernon and AVB is on the right.

 

From GW parkway pass National Airport. GW Parkway becomes Washington St. as you enter Old Town. Turn right on Montgomery St, right on Patrick St. and get in the left lane after you cross the Monroe St. bridge. Turn left on Monroe St. and right on Mt. Vernon Ave. AVB is approximately 7 blocks on the left.

 

From Route 236 east into Old Town, turn left on West St. and follow for 8 blocks. Turn left on West Braddock Rd. and right on Mt. Vernon Ave. Follow for approximately 13 blocks and AVB is on the left.

 

From I-395 exit on Glebe Rd. and head east until you reach Mt. Vernon Ave. Turn right and follow for approximately 13 blocks. AVB is on the right.
