1-800-VOLUNTEER and AVB:

www.1-800volunteer.org Alert to Alexandria Organizations and Volunteers!

We need your help! Our new Web site and the www.1-800volunteer.org database is only as good as the information we provide. And that means you! If you are registered as a volunteer with the Alexandria Volunteer Bureau, you should have received a letter in December with your 1-800 user name and password. Threw it away or misplaced it? No problem—give us a call at 703-836-2176 or email at mail@alexandriavolunteerbureau.org and we can locate your user name and password so you can update your profile, search for volunteer opportunities, and receive our newsletter if you opt to do that. Most important is your most recent e-mail address!

If you are not yet registered with us, do it now! Go to www.1-800volunteer.org and create a profile for yourself or your organization. It’s the best way to search for volunteer opportunities in Alexandria.

Nonprofit organizations—please update your information as soon as possible and start posting volunteer opportunities. Let us know if you have any problems updating—we’ll be glad to help!
